Any time of day, any time of year we LOVE this recipe. Kale is the most nutritious food on the planet and when it can taste this freakin’ delicious it’s a win-win, my friend.

- 1 head kale
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1-2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- pinch of cayenne pepper
Suggested add-ins (pick 1-3 that you love)
- 2 Tbsp black olives
- 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
- cherry tomatoes
- roasted butternut squash
- red onion
- seaweed flakes
- cooked protein: tempeh, tuna, salmon or shrimp
De-stem, wash and chop the kale and put it in a large bowl
Drizzle on the lemon juice and olive oil, then add in the avocado, salt and pepper.
Use your hands to massage the leaves and really break them down. Work in the avocado until it all becomes creamy.
Toss in your add-ins.
