1. Bring something you want to eat! Bringing something to the party is always a welcome gift and that way you’ll be sure to have a totally healthified option for you to enjoy.
We recommend the HCC Quinoa Salad with Special Sauce. It travels well and is ALWAYS a winner.
2. When you get to the party give yourself a minute to take it all in before you b-line to the buffet or pound a cocktail. Know your options so you feel totally comfortable and confident before you make your food or drink choices.
3. Have something to eat before you head over to your holiday soiree. Arriving to a party starving is a recipe for hangry (hungry + angry = hangry) disaster (and makes it super hard to follow tip 2!). Also, make a game plan. Decide if you’ll be getting your snack on and grabbing dinner later or plan on dining there.
4. Pick one great thing and go for it! Just make sure that you absolutely LOVE it (and if the first bite isn’t all it’s cracked up to be sneakily ditch your dish, we won’t tell!). Grab your serving and enjoy every single bite.
